With the confined space behind a bath, compression fittings are out of the question since there is no room to swing a spanner. Push-in pipe connections are the obvious solution for ease of installation. Apart from the connections to the taps, every other pipe join simply pushes together.

Hot or cold supply pipes can be fitted to either side of Nova-Flo to eliminate any guesswork.

As standard, Nova-Flo allows for 22mm pipework (or using 15mm with an enlarger). Internal bore dimensions run at 17mm so it can be used with pressure pumps, power showers or simply a header tank with no loss of performance.

The existing plastic overflow pipe needs to be cut in half and each end pushed onto the barbed connections. These will provide a secure watertight fit.

The width between the pipe connections on Nova-Flo has been designed to accomodate both UK bath tap widths of 180mm and the European size of 150mm.

Series of basins such as in schools can benefit from installing Nova-Flo.

A widely recognised problem in schools has been that of children blocking the basins and leaving the taps running causing plenty of damage.

By installing Nova-Flo to the main water supply feeding the basins, if a blockage occurs all the water to all the taps will be immediately shut off.

Once any blockage has been removed, all that is needed to reset the taps is to turn them all off.

Ease of installation has been of top consideration throughout the design process.

Plumbing in pipework at the head of a bath is a difficult job due to lack of space.
This prompted our interest in push in pipe connections.
